Care-Leavers: the role of attachment on coping

The study will involve completing six questionnaires (Four online and two via post). Participants that consent to taking part will be sent a link to the online survey by email. From here the researcher will request that participants give a mailing address for the final two questionnaires to be sent to (a stamped addressed envelope will be provided for the return of questionnaires).

The questionnaires will ask about some of their childhood experiences, their attachment style, and coping style

The study has been granted ethical approval by the University of Southampton Ethics Committee on 21st December 2018.

About the researcher

I am a third year Trainee Clinical Psychologist studying on the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) Course at the University of Southampton.
