Social Networks and Social Cognition During Adolescence

The study involves a short 10-minute telephone screening assessment (to screen for psychiatric disorders). Eligible participants will be invited to complete some brief questionnaires and computerised tasks lasting around 90 minutes - 2 hours maximum.


  • Males or females
  • Aged 13-17
  • English-speaking
  • With no current or previous mental health diagnosis
  • OR with an eating disorder diagnosis (anorexia or bulimia nervosa)
  • No neurological impairment (e.g. epilepsy)
