The relationship between empathy, autistic traits and emotion recognition

17 November 2016

Research suggests that people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) may be poorer at emotion recognition. The aim of this study is to explore whether there is a relationship between autistic like traits, empathy and emotion recognition ability in people who don’t have a diagnosis of ASD. It is hoped that the results will help us to understand more about the factors that influence emotion recognition abilities.
