Understanding Child Development Through Observation

19 October 2017

As part of the programme at UCL, students undertake a weekly hour-long observation of a baby
at home; this is to acquaint students with the capacities, growth and changes that
occur in the early months of life and to enable them to learn first-hand about this
fascinating developmental period. The aim is that the theory is understood on both an emotional and
intellectual level.
