Examining Socio-cultural Pressures and Female Body Image Concerns

This research aims to investigate how social and cultural pressures may affect the way that young female adults (aged 18-25 years) view themselves and their personal body image. This research aims to explore a wide range of body image perspectives from many different ethnicities and cultural backgrounds.

This research is part of an undergraduate research project funded by Loughborough University. This survey asks questions regarding body image related pressures from family, peers, and media.
