This research aims to look at life events throughout childhood and adolescence and how they contribute to adult emotion regulation. Emotion regulation strategies are associated with hypomanic personality, which is related to risk of bipolar disorder. Likewise, it is expected that both traumatic events and positive events are associated with hypomanic personality.
