Do mental health workers have a risk type, is there a link with resilience?

11 July 2018

The aim of this research is to identify if there is a dominant risk type for mental health workers, and if there is a link between this and resilience. In addition, the research will explore whether a mediating factor exists. This is in the hope that appropriate interventions could be developed to assist in increasing the resilience in this group, in turn decreasing absenteeism, stress-related illnesses and burnout, while increasing workplace wellbeing, engagement and potentially recruitment.
