Use of altitude for treatment of type II diabetes: A feasibility study

02 October 2017

The aim of this study is to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of the use of high altitude for the treatment of type II diabetes. Early data shoes that spending 1 hour in an altitude chamber can improve symptoms for up to 2 days. We would like to see if this remains the case when visiting the chamber 3 times a week for 4 weeks.
