Serve on an Online Virtual Jury

Recruiting residents of England and Wales aged 18-75, to serve on a virtual jury in a rape trial.
Watch a filmed recreation of a rape trial scenario and then deliberate with a group of 7 other volunteers, to a verdict of guilty or not guilty.
This will help researchers to understand how juries interpret evidence in rape trials and in turn, hopefully direct reform efforts to improve CJS responses to rape.

Ethical approval
The study has gained full ethical approval from Anglia Ruskin University ethics board. All data collected is fully anonymised and participation is entirely voluntary.
About the researcher
I am a second year PhD student at Anglia Ruskin University. My research examines justice responses to sexual offending in England and Wales, in attempts to improve the justice process.
