Comics about climate change - children's behaviour

Climate change is a major problem currently facing society. While many understand what they can do to combat it, actual changes in behaviour are limited.
Our project aims to create teaching materials to develop children’s sense of agency – that their actions can have an impact on climate change.
This survey asks parents’ about the likelihood of their children carrying out activities that are good for the environment. Findings will allow us to tailor materials to children’s current behaviour.

Ethical approval
This project complies with the University of Nottingham Code of Research Conduct and Research Ethics, which provides governance and direction about research ethics. It has been approved by the School of Education Research Ethics Committee on 29th April 2020.

Dr Jonathan Halls is a Postdoctoral Fellow of the British Academy, based at the Learning Science Research Institute, University of Nottingham.
