Audience Perceptions of American TV Sitcom 'Fresh Off The Boat'

My study explores race representation in American TV Sitcoms with an in-depth analysis of the American series Fresh off the Boat to see how audience of different race views the series. The study will take part in 2 sessions, with 6 participants each. One group will consist of East Asian participants and one will consist of Caucasian participants. Each session will be 1 hour. All participants will have to be 18 years old or above. Date of interview: 9th June, 2-4pm.

It is the researcher’s responsibility to ensure that participants' anonymity will be kept according to their wishes and that the focus group contents will be employed for purely academic purposes.
