Teacher Mental Wellbeing Support

05 February 2020

As part of my MA Dissertation at Bangor University I am currently researching the different types of support available to teachers in schools in the United Kingdom. This includes both formal and informal types of support. I am also trying to find out about any issues that prevent teachers from accessing or seeking support.

About the researcher

My previous background is in teaching across primary and secondary schools as well as part-time lecturing in higher education. From my own past experience I am aware of both the rewards as well the pressures teachers experience on a daily basis. I am interested in finding out from teachers what more can be done in terms of help and support.
