Teenage Pregnancy and Abortion: A Critical Feminist Perspective

01 October 2018

My PhD research is on the experiences of women who were pregnant as teenagers and who terminated their pregnancies. Its main focus is on language - how and what language is used to discuss teenage pregnancy and abortion, and how this impacts on the experiences of women.

Women who participate in the study will help me to understand the influence of policy and the media on the decisions and experiences of women who undergo (and have undergone) terminations as teenagers.
