The Role of Adverse Childhood Experiences and Insecure Attachment Style

13 May 2020

Attachment is a psychological process that is thought to mediate the relationship between childhood trauma and depression. The current literature has yet to establish how ethnicity may affect reported childhood trauma and the development of depressive symptoms. I am interested in finding out how childhood experiences and attachment style affects depressive symptoms in different ethnic groups.
