The role of metacognition in effective leadership.

The aim of the study is to gain a better understanding of the relationship between metacognitive insight and effective leadership. Metacognition is often defined as the ability to reflect on and evaluate our own knowledge, experience and behaviours. The study is online and is open to anyone over 18. It involves a personality questionnaire and a perceptual decision-making task, which will take approximately 30 minutes.

The study has been approved by the Social Sciences Research Ethics Committee at The University of Dundee in June 2020.
