Morphing Fears within OCD

Morphing fears are where the sufferer has a fear of changing to become like someone else by being contaminated by that person’s unwanted traits and characteristics. This has often gone misdiagnosed as psychosis so this study is investigating this relationship.

About the researcher

I am a Research Assistant at Nottingham Trent University. My research interests include Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety, Public Speaking Anxiety and recreational drug use. I am currently working on multiple studies within NTU's Psychology department, including investigations into Morphing Fears within OCD and various interventions (such as Virtual Reality and Psychoeducation) in reducing public speaking anxiety and social anxiety.
