Knowledge of English academic words

Academic words are used more often in academic speaking and writing irrespective of research discipline than in non-academic settings. This project examines the knowledge that Mandarin-Chinese native speaker and British English native speaker undergraduate university students have about English academic words. You will take a gap-fill test of English academic words, a multiple-choice test of English general words and you will fill in a questionnaire on your language learning history.
