Understanding more about Hoarding

01 June 2018

Compulsive Hoarding affects 2-4% of the population and can have a huge impact on people's quality of life. We know that people don’t often seek treatment or seek it after a very long time with the problem. We also know that the nature of hoarding is complex and treatment success can be variable. Because of this we want to learn more about the beliefs people have about their things (people who hoard and people who don't). Having a clearer understanding should help with treating this condition.
