This study is examining how attitudes surrounding mental illness vary, specifically in regard to depression. The findings of this study may provide a broader understanding of attitudes surrounding depression, globally.

This study has been approved by the University of Greenwich Psychological sciences ethical committee on May 4th, 2020, and is being supervised by Dr. Michele Birtel,who is a senior lecturer and programme leader at the University.

About the researcher

Thank you for considering taking part in this research project. My name is Briana Mitchell and I am currently completing my master’s degree at the University of Greenwich. It is a requirement of my degree to conduct research on a topic of my choosing, so this study will be focusing on attitudes surrounding mental illness.
