Revenge Porn

The researchers aim to explore public views of, and behaviours around the act of sharing an intimate photograph or video. As well as this, it aims to explore the views of those individuals whom may have been victimised, which may be an unpleasant experience. The sharing/distribution of intimate photographs, with intent to cause distress is also known as revenge porn.

This study has been reviewed and given a favourable opinion by the University of Nottingham’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences’ research ethics committee (FMHS Research Ethics ref no: H14062016) on 15th July 2016.
