Development and validation of new social-emotional tasks

03 February 2020

The aim of the research is to develop and test a set of new social-emotional processing tasks. Social-emotional difficulties have been postulated to play a key role in the development and progression of many psychiatric disorders including anorexia nervosa. However, there is a relative paucity of naturalistic paradigms that could be used to assess these difficulties. This study aims to address this gap by developing two new tasks assessing different aspects of social-emotional processing.

  • We are looking for FEMALE participants aged 18-25 years old who have never been diagnosed with a psychiatric or neurological disorder.
