Privacy Assistants for the Smart Home

15 July 2019

Have you ever wondered what data your smart home devices were collecting, and where they were sending it? We are conducting a study to evaluate a prototype that helps tackle these problems by keeping track of who your smart devices communicate with, as well as giving you the information you need to understand and contextualise this information.

  • Age 18 or over
  • Have and use smart devices at home
  • Able for us to connect a prototype device to your home router during the study
  • Available for entry, exit, and check in sessions at intervals throughout the study
