Individual differences in alcohol induced blackouts

04 March 2017

Drinking behaviours such as drinking prior to an event has an elevated risk of intoxication, thus, increasing likelihood of experiencing a blackout. Similarly, research has established a link between excessive drinking and the trait of sensation seeking suggesting that people high on this trait are more likely to get drunk. This project aims to investigate the relationship between drinking behaviours, personality traits and incidence of alcohol blackouts.
