The effect of brain stimulation on language in post-stroke aphasia

Many adults who suffer from stroke have aphasia or problems with communication such as talking and getting thoughts and opinions out. The main aim of this research is to study how brain stimulation can help improve language problems caused by stroke. We are testing to see if brain stimulation using tDCS (transcranial direct-current stimulation) can help make language therapy more useful.
You will be required to attend once weekly sessions for 8 weeks. Each session will be about 1 hour.
