Personality and Vulnerability to Cyber Attack

How can we prevent criminals and other malign actors from using what they know about people to manipulate them to gain access to their computer networks? How much do you know about yourself?
This study explores individual characteristics - such as personality - against key cyber-security questions, in order to support our understanding of how we can better protect internet users.

About the researcher
I am a doctoral researcher with the University of Southampton. In my day job I work as a behavioural scientist for the UK Ministry of Defence Science and Technology Laboratories. My background is in the theory and practice of social influence - especially within the field of cyber security, with a focus on how we better defend individuals and organisations from malicious attacks.
