INCIVILITY IN ACADEMIA

27 October 2017

This questionnaire is designed to investigate how students and academic staff perceive potentially uncivil behaviour within a university context. Participants will be asked to read six fictional scenarios, each describing a particular behaviour by either a student or a member of staff, and then asked to indicate the extent to which the behaviour is rude or uncivil, what you think the emotional impact of the behaviour would be, the potential cause of the behaviour, and the proposed response.
