Socio-emotional function and comorbidities in anorexia nervosa

This project aims to understand the way in which people with anorexia nervosa and those who have recovered from anorexia nervosa process emotional and social information, compared to healthy controls.


  • NOTE: I have now reached my recruitment target for my recovered group, and am now only looking for participants with current AN.
  • Age 18 - 55
  • Male or female
  • Current diagnosis of anorexia nervosa
  • BMI 17.5 or below
  • Normal or corrected to normal vision
  • No history of brain trauma, neurological impairment, or serious disability
  • Fluent in English

This study has been approved by Camberwell St Giles Research Ethics Committee on 26th November 2017 (Ref no: 17/LO/1960).
