Identifying predictors of outcome following childhood brain injury

28 November 2018

We are looking for families with children aged 5 to 13 years with no known brain injury to take part in a study at Aston University. The study aims to find out whether we can predict the challenges that children with a brain injury may face by looking at the differences in brain scans and thinking skills between healthy children and children with brain injuries. Children who participate would need to be willing to undergo an MRI scan at Aston Brain Centre and complete some game-based tasks.

  • Children aged from 5 to 13 years
  • No known condition affecting the brain
  • Willing to undergo an MRI scan
  • The families' first language is English
