Can You Spot A Phishing Email?

Can you spot when you are being phished? Identifying fraudulent emails can be difficult. Phishing is an attempt to trick you to give up your personal information by pretending to be a reputable business. Can you tell what email is fake?

As part of a PhD project at Aberystwyth University, we are conducting an online survey to test how well you can distinguish between phishing (fraudulent) and genuine emails.

This project has been reviewed and approved by the Department of Psychology’s Research Ethics Committee, Aberystwyth University, in accordance with the British Psychological Society’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
