BONE Project: Bone Health & Eating Disorders

> We want to investigate whether people with anorexia nervosa have differences in their bone health to people without eating disorders.
> You will be asked to complete a few questionnaires online about some demographics, your physical and mental health.
> Within 4 to 6 months, we will also ask to fill the same online baseline questionnaires
> You will be invited to bone, urine and blood tests (optional)

Requirements

  • Females
  • Age between 18 and 65
  • No acute or chronic inflammatory condition
  • A current diagnosis of anorexia nervosa (illness duration less than 3 years ) OR
  • A current diagnosis of anorexia nervosa (illness duration more than 7 years) OR
  • No history of psychiatric disorders, including eating disorders
