The neural substrates correlated with writing in Chinese and English

12 January 2016

The aim of the study is to describe the neuro correlates of written languages. Specifically we would compare three types of relation between graphemes (written symbols) and words: alphabetic (English), logographic (Chinese), Pinyin (Phonetic). The study will examine neural correlates associated with reading and writing in two separate fMRI studies.
