Impulsivity in Internet Offenders: Comparisons with non-offending controls

13 May 2016

This study aims to compare two groups of men: men who are known to the police for committing internet sexual offences (such as accessing or distributing indecent images of children, or online grooming) and men who have not committed sexual offences on some key psychological measures.

It is hoped that gaining knowledge about the similarities and differences of these two groups will help inform the development of effective treatment and assessment of internet offenders.
