The role of agile project management in project portfolio success

The aim of the research is to empirically explore the relationship between project and portfolio success in the context of IT and software development companies that are using agile approaches to support their projects and portfolios. The specific objectives of this study are:

1. Identifying agile project success factors.
2. Exploring agile portfolio practices.
3. Identifying the factors that exemplify the relationship between agile project and portfolio success.

About the researcher

Masoud is a PhD student in School of Business IT & Logistics at RMIT University. He has over 10 years of experience in coordinating and managing projects in various industries. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP).

His current research interests are agile project management and project portfolio management.
