Responding to the needs of vulnerable children/youth during the COVID-19

We are inviting practitioners at all levels of education in the UK and Ireland (leaders, SENCos, Inclusion Leads, teaching/social care staff, local authorities' staff, charities) to take part in this survey to help us identify main needs of vulnerable children and youth during school closures, currently used practices that help address these needs, gaps in practice requiring further action and ways to plan for school reopening.

About the researcher
Anna Tsakalaki is a Lecturer in Education at the University of Reading. Her research interests include literacy difficulties, reading and writing development, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, inclusion, English as an Additional Language, use of new technologies in education, creativity in learning. Jo Billington is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Reading. Her research interests include inclusion and mental health of children with ASD in mainstream education.
