Should health workers have the right to refuse to participate in abortion?

Health care practitioners (HCP's) do not have to participate in abortion if they have a conscientious objection (CO). This may be informed by: religious, moral, philosophical, ethical, or personal beliefs. This study proposes to understand service users (individuals who have accessed abortion) opinions and understandings of conscientious objection, and experiences of abortion in the UK.
