Antidepressants and emotional processing about the self

07 October 2019

We want to investigate whether a drug called ‘citalopram’, an antidepressant, changes how the brain deals with emotional and social information about the self and others, in healthy participants. Participants will be randomly assigned to take either citalopram or a placebo tablet, and then asked to complete some questionnaires and cognitive tasks on the computer. You will be asked to complete two sessions, taking approximately 7 hours in total.
