Metacognitive measures as predictors of accuracy in children
12 October 2020
Children are often witnesses or victims of crimes, and so it is important that we understand how well they can monitor the accuracy of their memories when collecting evidence from them. The study will look at which which behaviours can tell us more about the accuracy of children’s memory monitoring. Children will watch 2 short videos and answer questions about what they can remember. They will also fill out scales to rate how sure they are of their answers. This activity will take place on Zoom.
