The Experience of Passionate Love in Short-Term vs Long-Term Relationships

19 June 2017

The purpose of this study is to identify any similarities or differences in how short-term and long-term couples experience passionate love. The aim is to discover any patterns in one’s experience of passion, and if any of these patterns can be linked with relationship length, age, or other psychological underpinnings. This study has implications on furthering our understanding of how passion impacts the self and in turn how the self impacts the experience of passion.
