Heavy drinkers needed for paid drug research at UCL

28 April 2016

We are recruiting heavy drinkers who want to cut down to take part in a study that will help us understand the brain chemistry of learning and memory related to heavy drinking.

As part of this study you may be given a dose of intravenous ketamine, which is an anesthetic drug with strong psychological effects, or a placebo at UCLH under the supervision of a trained anesthetist.

The study will take place over 3 sessions in UCL and UCLH over the course of 2 weeks
