Far out! : How well can you perceive distances in Virtual Reality

25 January 2016

Hello

I am investigating distance perception in Virtual Reality.
The study consists of a single experiment (~35 minutes) using the latest state of the art in virtual reality hardware, and a custom 3D spatial audio engine for rendering immersive environments.

Your task is simply to complete a series of trials while wearing a pair of headphones and a Virtual Reality headset. To participate, all that is required is that you have normal or corrected to normal vision, and no auditory impairment
