Research that makes you laugh & think

Here at call for participants, we see a lot of different research from all disciplines and fields of life. Often, these research studies look into very serious matters that life-changing. At other times, the are just as life changing, but also bring a smile on our faces and we can't wait to tell others about it.
Marc Abrahams started the Ig Nobel awards, an award dedicated to the most improbable, bizarre and thought-provoking research in the world. The only criteria to be awarded an Ig Nobel - research needs to make people laugh and then think.
