This study aims to compare the satiating properties of two 'functional' fats: medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and the mechanisms behind any observed differences.

10 October 2017 Requirements- • Body Mass Index of either 18.5-24.9 kg/m2 OR 30-40 kg/m2 (we will measure this as part of your screening, and provide you with detailed body composition data)
- • Aged between 18-60 years
- • Not a restrained eater (we will measure this in the screening)
- • Not currently on any weight management diet and been weight stable for 6 months
- • No known history of metabolic, digestive, cardiovascular or renal disease
- • No severe dislike or allergy/intolerance of any of the study foods. Due to the test food and food provided during the buffet, vegans are not eligible to enroll in this study.
- • Not suffering from anemia, or currently a regular smoker.
