01 October 2024 Requirements- Aged 18 or older.
- Current diagnosis of depression.
- Living with obesity (i.e., a body mass index equal to 30kg/m2 or higher).
- Currently taking an anti-depressant medication.
- Felt insufficient response to two other anti-depressant medications.
- Not currently taking antibiotics, antipsychotics, blood thinners, or anti-inflammatory medications.
- Able to take minocycline for 8 weeks
- (optional) Able to undergo 2 MRI brain scans.
