Stalking: the effects on individuals who have been subjected to it!

The purpose of the study is to contact individuals who are/have been a target of stalking, and to ascertain how it has affected them from an emotional, physical and psychological perspective. It is also designed to allow individuals the opportunity to talk about their individual experience with any legal agencies who were involved and how effective their involvement was.


  • Provide Consent
  • Over 18s of any gender
  • UK resident only
  • Are/have been targets of a stalker
  • Understand the purpose of the study
  • Understand that as any answers will remain anonymous, it will not be possible to withdraw from the study once the 'Finish' button has been selected.
  • Have a very good understanding of the english language, as the survey is to be completed in english.

This study has been approved by the University of Coventry Psychology Ethics Committee on 21 July 2020.
