Becoming a Management Consultant: Exploring Identity Processes.

02 October 2023

The project investigates the formation of professional (role) identity within management consultants. It draws on system-psychodynamics theories and uses psychoanalytic-oriented methods. Participants will be interviewed on three occasions during their professional transition period. Data will be analysed and themes distilled, which should reveal mechanisms and factors that might influence professional role formation.
