20 September 2018

We are looking for males and females aged 18-45 who would like to cut down on the amount of chocolate they eat. We are looking at the effect of rapamycin (an immunosuppressant) on the neurochemistry of learning and memory related to eating chocolate.

  • You must:
  • be aged 18-45
  • Regularly "overeat" chocolate, e.g. eating more than planned or past the point of comfortable fullness.
  • Be able to attend three testing sessions at UCL's Clinical Psychopharmacology Unit
  • Complete online follow up questionnaires
  • Agree to be given a single dose of Rapamycin or placebo
  • You must NOT have a diagnosed eating disorder
