Cosmetic procedures within the private sector

Despite the increasing numbers of people choosing to have a cosmetic procedure, surprisingly little research has been conducted to examine people’s motivations and expectations for undergoing a cosmetic procedure. The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of the psychological characteristics of people presenting for a cosmetic procedure.

Requirements

  • Must be seeking a cosmetic procedure now or in the future
  • Adult over the age of 18 years
  • Must be living in the United Kingdom
