Deaf or Hard of Hearing viewer assessment on the Live Closed Captioning.
24 September 2020
We are trying to improve the quality of CC by reflecting subjective opinions of D/HoH audiences through a virtual user study (using Zoom). We are looking for D/HoH audiences who watch CC for TV and should be able to communicate in English or American Sign Language (ASL). In this study, the participants will be watching a set of short captioned video clips and will be asked to report subjective assessment ratings. Once the rating session is completed, a 10-min interview will be followed.
