This is a home-based physical activity programme for teenage girls. The aim of this study is to (i) evaluate if a physical activity programme is acceptable, realistic and enjoyable for teenage girls and (ii) evaluate if this programme has the potential to increase the amount of time teenage girls spend being physically active.

About the researcher
Emma is from Dublin, Ireland where she trained as a PE and biology teacher. After leaving Dublin she completed her MSc in Sport and Exercise Science and Medicine in the University of Glasgow, before going to work in London. She is currently a PhD candidate in Liverpool John Moores university and her work is based on developing a physical activity programme for teenage girls to improve their fitness, as well as motivation towards exercise.
