TANDEM: Combining attention training with brain stimulation to treat binge

14 September 2020

Presently, treatments for binge eating are not helpful for a large number of people, and many find it difficult to access the treatment they need. We are looking at whether combining transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), a safe and painless form of brain stimulation, with attention training may improve outcomes from treatment. If so, this intervention may be a useful treatment tool in the future.
